The world’s most advanced networks rely on CommScope connectivity. We are looking for Analyst I Materials Planning to join our Reynosa Team.
General Summary
Responsible for ensuring the planning, availability and control of finished materials, aligning customer requirements with the available inventory and logistics capabilities of the plant.
Focused on international documentation and compliance with customs requirements, ensuring the correct execution of international shipments.
In charge of the review of finished product inventories (FG), identifying materials with active demand or over inventory, and coordinating actions to reduce inventories.
Responsible for creating and monitoring of deliveries and shipments in SAP, ensuring traceability, accuracy and compliance with deadlines
Responsible for preparing bills of lading and performing the PGI (Post Goods Issue) in SAP to confirm material shipments and trigger customer invoicing.
Follow customer-specific shipping instructions.
Supervises and analyzes performance indicators, mainly the OTP (On Time Performance), promoting actions to maintain a high level of compliance
Complies with the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) system, its policies, standards and applicable procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Review the status of materials in the warehouse, ensuring availability and accuracy of data in SAP.
• Analyze finished goods (FG) inventory to identify materials with excess stock or no demand, and take preventive actions in coordination with the relevant areas.
• Manage international shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, customer regulations and internal policies.
• Generate deliveries and shipments in SAP, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Prepares international bills of lading and executes the PGI (Post Goods Issue) process in SAP to ensure proper shipment release and accounting accuracy of all material movements.
• Review and apply customer shipping instructions, verifying packaging conditions, labeling, quantities, destinations, and any special requirements prior to each shipment.
• Monitor shipments in transit, ensuring compliance with delivery times and the OTP indicator.
• Coordinates with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to address and resolve any discrepancies, delays, or issues affecting the shipment process.
• Verify compliance with documentation required for internal and external audits, keeping complete and updated records
.• Follow up on special or strategic shipments, prioritizing high-impact clients such as Facebook/XCORP
.• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing planning processes, material control, and logistics efficiency.
.• Comply with and promote Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) guidelines, guaranteeing compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce, Customs or any related field or 15+ years of experience in same position.
• Knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, LE)
• Knowledge of import/export processes, international documentation, and in-bond procedures.
• English 80%
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions and data analysis
• Understanding MRP, inventory control and demand analysis.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and foreign trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing list, SLI, COO).
• Clear and effective communication with internal and external teams.
• Ability to analyze inventory and demand data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Attention to detail in the verification of data and documentation.
• Critical thinking and problem solving, anticipating logistical or administrative risks.
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance with EHS policies.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and oriented towards continuous improvement.
• Adaptability to changes in processes, priorities or customer requirements.
• Professional ethics, responsibility and sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of logistics and operations.
