Job Description: This is a remote home-office based role located in Cancun or Mexico City. The position and role operate coordinated with our global Technical Sales Systems Engineers team and in close collaboration with the Sales Account management team.
The position will gravitate mostly around Hospitality vertical, dealing with Hotel Enterprise end customers, focused account presales tasks and/or a partner vertical/channel development activities. The position seeks an ideal candidate that is a technical sales professional who provide the account team with technical sales support and market & technology insights specific to the hospitality market and industry.
Customer-focused and technology-focused technical sales; providing high level technical support, enablement, and guidance to partner and important end customers.
Collaborates with Hospitality Account Manager and Specialized partners to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings on large opportunities. Provides architectural perspective across the Ruckus product portfolio and can demonstrate SE technical specialization within Hospitality and enterprise IT for specific opportunities.
Will perform technical demos, proof of concept trials, solutions training, and deliver presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and events.
Contribute to the larger team by acting on the project lead role, mentoring partner’s engineers sharing knowledge and best practices throughout Ruckus.
The successful candidate will be experienced in hospitality IT enterprise networks presales, a proficient self-starter, great communicator, with technical leadership traits, with strong technical skills and industry knowledge across Enterprise, Hospitality and when applicable into Service Providers that serve the hospitality vertical. Brings excellent interpersonal skills.
Possess a proven understanding of the RUCKUS wireless and wired portfolio and related technologies as well as the global technological direction within our industry applied to the Hospitality vertical.

- Drive the development of a territory technical account plans, enabling channels and gather knowledge of local market demands, best solutions in given use cases.
- Apply solutions and requirements to the creation of a technical account strategy and plan; handles leads through customer meetings, seminars, and education

- Collaborate with Account manager and partners to define customer business problem in a technical context positioning adequate solutions.
- Define solution options and articulate the benefits of a Ruckus solution; Recommend qualified partner resource if required
- Take the lead on moving deals through the technical solutions sales process by knowing how and when to engage the appropriate Ruckus and partner tools and resources (such as SE, PSE, PS, PMs, TMEs etc.)
- Refine and research technical requirements of the opportunity, lead research of potential competitive offerings for the proposed solution

- Develop the technical elements in RFP and the different approaches for proposal development
- Research and demonstrate solution ROI and articulate findings to customer
- Coordinate solution development, including leveraging replicable architectures and researching customized solutions
- Identify and engage appropriate post-sales support resources
- Lead and develop proof of concept, including presentation and documentation of test results. Consult with SEI & II on proposed plans.
- Coordinate account team in developing or oversee development of customer presentation materials
- Lead presentation of Ruckus solutions to customer, including white boarding and presentation of technical material

- Ensure no post sales time by escalating requests and outstanding questions to appropriate post-sales organization (Partner, TAC, CA)

- Provide feedback to account team on opportunity performance and request individual feedback

- Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering; Computer Programming; Information Technology; Management Information Systems; Computer Science; Mathematics
- Demonstrated technical competence, competitive knowledge, and consultative skills specific to networking solutions – emphasis or focus on the Hospitality vertical highly desired.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Enterprise Technical Sales

- Ruckus product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings
- General knowledge of SE technical skills; working with IP and WLAN technologies; specifically, 802.11 a/g/n/ac/ax, wireless design and assessment, heat map creation, wireless troubleshooting, wireless network optimization, IP routing and switching WAN/LAN design.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
- Ability to support troubleshooting of complex problems
- Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, Layer 4-7 application services, security authentication methods and products, RADIUS, AD, Virtualization environments/deployments, VM installations, (any of VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, GCE, Azure, AWS), on-boarding tools such as Cloudpath etc.
- Strong IP networking background in Switching, Routing, Wireless & Secure Access protocols (VLANs, STP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, Multicast, MPLS, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 802.1x etc.).
- Advanced level networking industry certification like CCIE, BPIPA, JNCIE, PCNSE, Aruba, Ruckus, CWNP etc. are preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of wireless heatmap/site survey tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet.
- Effective technical presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills – fully bilingual.
- Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time within Territory (Mexico) and region (CALA).
