What is Expected?

Individual contributor role. Field sales position accountable for strategically selling the breadth of the product line to a named strategic account across regional boundaries, as applicable. Requires a balanced sales effort involving sales/account leadership skills and product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills. Travel required

How will you help us connect the world:

Implements the complete sales cycle at the corporate level, from generating sales leads, qualifying, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, negotiating and closing. Handles the ongoing account relationships, up to and including executive management. Assesses key decision-makers’ needs and develops a plan of action to meet customer requirements with CommScope products and services.

Maintains account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel. Understands customer’s business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches CommScope solutions to fulfill the requirements of the customer. Demonstrates significant expertise in all CommScope Wireless Solutions’ products and solutions. Responsible for attaining Approved Product List (APL) status within the assigned account. Develops the strategic account plans for named accounts. Accountable for achieving financial objectives within assigned accounts.

Supports the regions in penetrating CS Wireless Solutions products into the regional markets for their named accounts. Participates in territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers. Assesses market opportunities and develops business plans to meet revenue objectives

Reviews revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning with the regions for their named account. Provides information and reports, as required, to advise management of sales progress and success. Participates in trade shows, as assigned, to promote company products and to develop leads.

Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s Engineering Degree required; Technical field preferred;

Preferably 15+ years related sales experience;

Five (5) years work experience in the industry or in a related business;
