Title:  Inside Sales Representative

What to Expect:

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, Service Provider Sales ANZ you will be an integral part of an experienced sales and sales engineering team focused on the telecommunications industry in Australia and New Zealand.

 

You will work with the account team as well as directly with customers and value-added resellers to understand market demand, prepare forecast and then liaise with relevant product teams and supply chain team for forecasting and order fulfillment. You will also work closely with the Sales Finance team to ensure accurate revenue reporting and identification of gaps against forecast.

 

 

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Having an agile mind to perceive nuances as well as details, identifying gaps and clearly communicating your understanding to the account and finance teams
  • Working closely with Account Managers and the relevant Sales Organization in maintaining and growing service provider business across the region
  • Delighting customers by faultlessly executing their orders and ensuring a smooth sales process by with internal coordination and escalation if necessary

 

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of sales order compliance, customer order correspondence and order planning
  • Document and maintain opportunities using CRM and other software tool to manage forecast and model deliveries
  • Provide product and service quotations
  • Manage the relationship with customer supply and procurement organizations.
  • Manages backlog and order maintenance. Interfaces with Sales, customers and warehouse/logistics teams
  • Meet or exceed goals and objectives set by management under the Sales Commission Plan
  • Utilize CommScope‘s internal resources for product expediting, pricing, technical support, etc. in a manner to meet the customer’s expectations. 
  • Through creative thinking and planning identify new fields of play and new opportunities that position CommScope as the lead solution of choice
  • Handle inbound calls and convert into sales leads

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience. Fresh or recent graduates who are interested in entry level Telecommunications Sales role are welcomed to apply.
  • Some experience in cable or telecom sales industry selling technology products to major customers.
