Title:  Staff Hardware Engineer

How you'll help us connect the world


As a staff hardware engineer you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive and design innovative telecommunication products by working closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and outside partners driving key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. You'll be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.


You Will Make an Impact By


As part of a project team you will work alongside a variety of Engineers (Electrical, RF, Mechanical, Process); supporting the design, debug, validation and lifecycle of the products.

You will be involved in projects from concept through production, gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle. Also support engineering builds gaining experience with high volume manufacturing and will be assigned trouble tickets to help resolve critical customer field support issues.

Perform schematic design/simulation using DxDesigner

Assist in the PCB layout using CES and Xpedition

Validate prototype hardware and debug issues

BOM maintenance using Agile

Develop automated test tools (LabVIEW etc)

Support manufacturing & test issues

Support supplier / PCN activity

Support customer field issues that call out to Engineering for analysis


Required qualifications :


Bachelors / Master’s in electrical engineering or related field with 5-10 years of work experience.

Embedded Hardware Design experience, including Digital and mixed Digital-Analog/RF designs utilizing SoC’s and FPGA’s.

Knowledge of circuit design and analysis, schematic design, and circuit testing and debugging.

Skilled user of Mentor Graphics EDA tools

Possess an analytical demeanor and ability to diagnose and find resolutions to problems.

Proven proficiency in electronics design from the concept and design phases, through proto-typing and manufacturing in previous work-related roles.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong teammate, able to take initiative and find the solutions.
