Title:  Director, APAC Logistics

This role will lead the APAC Global Logistics organization for CommScope Supply Chain.  Responsible for strategic planning and operations execution of all CommScope Distribution centers, Transportation Management, achieving KPIs and business goals.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • DC and transport network performance management.
  • Deliver management processes and organization structure whereby business performance goals are achieved at optimal cost to achieve service levels.
  • Industrial knowledge - strategic knowledge of technology / Logistics business across the entire APAC region with ability to identify factors that are key with respect to CommScope supply chain design / execution and work with the Global Logistics and Supply Chain organization to ensure this is driven into the CommScope Global Supply Chain strategic planning.
  • Demonstrate ability to be tactically adept yet also be strategic. Able to operate at 50 ft and 50000 ft levels of the business to manage the organization and stakeholders across CommScope and partners/suppliers.
  • Lead and develop a well-connected organization that ties to global and regional partners and has a network internally and externally to benchmark performance.
  • Talent pipeline and active management of talent to drive the organization forward.
  • Sustained push and cultural program which delivers continuous improvement and optimization of the Supply Chain to ensure delivery of Profit Improvement Plans (PIPs) at all Distribution Centers and transportation operations across APAC region.
  • Management and mentoring of talent pipeline.
  • Key business metrics on service and delivery, cost and cash.




  • Preferably with a Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Engineering/Business Management/Logistics with 15 years of related progressive experience
  •  Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, communicate and manage logistics functions dependent on high degree of customer service in a global supply chain utilizing cross functional teams and third party logistics providers
  • Proven track record of success including major projects and cost reduction initiatives
  • Be able to work in a high pace atmosphere managing competing objectives and driving results
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
