Title:  Engineer II, Automation

The Automation Engineer is responsible to keep running all automation process and equipment in condition such be safer and achieve the quality standards creating methodologies and tools which can achieve the corporative objectives. In addition to be part on design and improve trough LEAN methodologies our products and process which include, automation process, material flow, drawings, others.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Engineering change and managing implementation
  • Routing & BOM generation/update  
  • Create/update all documentation that needs for automation process and equipment
  • Design and improve automation process, using LEAN methodologies to reduce the product cost and waste.
  • Ensuring that all drawing and specification are update according with engineering requirements.
  • Providing technical support to operation and other departments.
  • Creating production flow process and cost standard according with the areas and process.
  • Promote a continuous improvements culture to the other departments seeking participation with the team members
  • Always focused on the company’s objectives and customer requirement


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineer Bachelor’s degree (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or similar)
  • Green Belt on Lean Manufacturing methodology acquired (preferred)
  • Engineering manufacturing experience on molding injection process (preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience acquired on industrial area specially managing equipment and providing support to the technicians.
  • Rockwell Studio 5000 
  • FactoryTalk View Studio 
  • Cognex In-Sight Explorer (preferred)
  • 24i Networking Software (preferred)
  • English conversational 
  • Six Sigma acquired (preferred)
  • CAD System knowledge
