How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Owning the development and implementation of EHS activities to meet or exceed site goals, for safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Partnering with trainers to ensure employees are developed and accountable for their individual and team performance. Crafting a work environment that is challenging and meaningful. Recognizing and exciting high performance. Leading company advised safety programs, compliance with Mexican and other regulatory requirements, and promotion of a strong safety culture. Eliminating waste throughout the manufacturing operations through implementation of Lean tools and processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, and promoting employee engagement at all levels of the plant. Leading, mentor and participating on teams to accomplish individual, department and divisional objectives. Ensuring employees, management, supervisors, etc. are accurately trained on their roles and responsibilities for EHS Management.

Attention to Third Party Audits (Corporate, Government). You will also collaborate in accidents investigation, root cause analysis, control implementation and responses to Authorities. In charge of implementation and coordination of EHS Management System per Mexican, American and Corporate Regulation, and develop audits program and implement corporate global standards. Coordination of Environmental, Health and Safety Studies.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, industrial or career related to engineering.
  • 3 years’ experience on a similar position.
  • Software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills with a strong potential for leadership development are required for this role
  • English (written and spoken 85%).
  • Strong Communication skills.
