The world’s most sophisticated networks rely on CommScope connectivity. We are looking for Import & Export Data Compliance Specialist (1st Shift) to join our Bermudez Team.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

The Import & Export Data Compliance Specialist is responsible to manage, maintaining, updates of our Annex 24 for all CommScope’s entities. This position has cross organizational & functional interactions with internal and external customers, providing daily support to ensure the trade compliance.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Coordinates and prioritizes daily operational activities.
  • The ability to determine operational impacts and communicate with supervisor and the business to reduce potential risks.
  • Identify opportunity areas, root cause, solution, and implement basic problem resolutions.
  • Ensure the integrity and compliance of Customs Border Protection related governments customs regulations.
  • Safeguard our company's information based on compliance with Annex 24.

 

 Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field Foreign Trade, Finance, Administration, Logistic or similar.
  • Applicants currently enrolled in the last 3 semesters of degree program will be considered. (Must provide a signed commitment to graduate on time and present proof of degree completion immediately upon finishing the program)
  • Experience in trade compliance areas.
  • Management of conflicts.
  • English intermediate.

 

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge MS Office, ERP/SAP, Annex 24.
  • Knowledge of Harmonize Tariff Schedule (HTS classification)
  • Ability to working across departments and/or cross functional personnel located at multiple facilities within Mexico.
  • Interpersonal skills and decision-making are essential.
  • Teamwork and analytical skills.
