Leads a Manufacturing Unit team with direct responsibility for Production. Working together with Manufacturing, supporting Engineering, Material Planning and Quality to achieve objective established.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in related area.
• 5 years’ experience in management position.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English - 80% minimum.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Line balancing, 5S, ISO 9001, MRP.
• Sense of urgency with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proactive-Team Player.
• Analytical skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and ability to thrive in a corroborative team environment.
• Personnel management (+1500 HC).
• Time and shift availability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Production and supervising the activities and functions of Manufacturing Production ensuring maximum use of employees and materials within budget, cost, Quality and standards.
• KPI's - Drives improvement actions to meet targets and reports weekly on KPI's related to the following:  Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory.
• Focus on continues improvement.
• Attends daily production/planning meetings.
• Participates in budgeting process as required and manages costs to achieve production and absorption variance targets.
• Supports customer delivery expedites.
• Maintains acceptable performance for the following:  Delivery confirmations within 48 hours, clean in transit inventories, clean STO aging, CAPA aging, and production order aging.
• Demonstrating commitment to the continual improvement of the EHS Management System.
• Ensuring employees are trained in their necessary functions in order to implement the ISO 14001 and ISO45001 standards.
• Ensuring that the roles, responsibilities and authorities are cascaded throughout their specific organization. Also, ensuring that these are understood and accepted as appropriate.
• Cooperating with EHS to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
