CommScope is looking to add an Import & Export Specialist Statutory to join our Trade Compliance Team in Juárez Chih, Mex.,
How You'll Help Us Connect the World
The Import & Export Specialist Statutory is responsible for managing and control of legal documents generated by CommScope’s domestic entities. This position has cross organizational & functional interactions with internal and external customers, providing daily support to ensure trade compliance, regulations, and procedures.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, Finance, Administration, Logistics Engineering or similar.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in trade compliance areas.
- Teamwork.
- Management of conflicts.
- Analytical skills.
Skills Required
- Certification in OEA, CTPAT, IVA-IEPS.
- Knowledge MS Office/ SAP.
- Knowledge Annex 24 and Annex 30.
- Knowledge of basic and advanced Import & Export programs such as: IMMEX, PROSEC, OEA, IVA-IEPS, C-TPAT, NOM’s.
- Knowledge of Harmonize Tariff Schedule.
- Ability to working across departments and/or cross functional personnel located at multiple facilities within Mexico.
- Interpersonal skills and decision-making are essential.
- English language proficiency (50-70%).
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- CTPAT, OEA, IVA e IEPS certification compliance.
- IMMEX compliance.
- Internal/external safety & security supply chain audits.
- Annex 30 administration.
- Regulatory paperwork and notifications to VUCEM.
- INEGI reports.
- RAOCE presentations.
- Response and compliance with SAT requirements.
- Digital files on national vendors.
- Legal free trade Mexico normative changes analysis.
