As a SuccessFactors System Administrator focused on Employee Central (EC) you will be responsible for supporting the HR Business.  You will be part of the implementation of CommScope’s EC module You will also research and analyze  business requirements and translating technical requirements. You will recommend HR technology solutions for difficult and complex business problems and apply technical and functional HR knowledge for the improvement, maintenance and development of HR systems. This position can be located in Joliet, IL, Lisle, IL, Shakopee, MN, Richardson, TX or Hickory, NC


  • Performs analysis of HRIS systems by researching and identifying the root causes for data problems such as system limitations or design, user error or lack of standard procedures for accurate ongoing administration of HRIS systems and reports.
  • Collaborates, consults and partners with business owners regarding business needs and effectively discuss technical and resource availability. Translates business needs into technical requirements utilizing standard HRIS process models in order to support HR business or organizational requirements.
  • Monitors and supports ongoing maintenance of HRIS external applications including needs analysis, project planning, requirements specification, vendor selection, customization, testing, training and implementation, within the IT and HR Business established guidelines results to facilitate information flow between HR systems and external systems.
  • Continually monitoring HR information needs and acts as a liaison and technical advisor in the design of new functionality, enhancements and/or the modification of HR systems to meet changing business requirements.
  • Recommends, tests, trains, documents, implements and plans for all improvements, enhancements related to HR systems and technology, while promoting standardization and best practices across the global organization business.
  • Provides technical, operations, and training support to users of HRIS through documentation of processes and delivering end user training in an understandable context for all levels of users.  Communicating changes to business requirements, enhancements or production issues to IT, Payroll, HR and other affected parties.
  • Provide relevant information through the training and support of HR users in the development of complex ad hoc reporting and other analytical activities leveraging business intelligence software to the fullest potential.
  • Perform internal and external system audits to ensure data integrity and efficient processing of HR data.
  • Develop business rules to clean and validate data to maintain ongoing data integrity.
  • Manage data loads requests by performing data scrubbing before data loads and data validation after its completion.



  • 5+ years of SuccessFactors experience in Employee Central (EC) including complex business rules and EC reporting   
  • Significant experience, knowledge and expertise in business systems analysis, design, project life cycle methodology, best practices and processes.
  • HR Systems development, implementation and project management experience, preferably in a corporate global environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including some early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Experience translating complex data for a variety of audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, and the proven ability to take initiative, make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality; ability to maintain composure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and organize cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with an



  • Bachelor's Degree required, major in Computer Science or related technical degree preferred
  • Progressive functional SuccessFactors experience with Compensation, Variable Pay, Performance and Goals
  • Development Plan, Calibration, Learning Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Central and/or Succession Planning  
  • Experience with SAP HCM 
  • Experience with SAP security and/or SuccessFactors RBP  
  • SuccessFactors experience with Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance/Goals Management, Compensation, Succession, Calibration and LMS  
  • Strongly desired is the ability to create and support cross-module reporting for Table, Canvas and Dashboard reporting along with the associated RBP requirements.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Integration Center and Intelligent Services.
