General Summary

 

CommScope is seeking a Senior Application Developer, Digital Workplace to lead the design, governance, and evolution of employeefacing digital workplace platforms, including an enterprise intranet and collaboration environment built on SharePoint Online, along with Power Platformbased workflow and automation solutions.

This role is responsible for enabling modern collaboration, digital productivity, and business process automation across the organization. The Senior Application Developer acts as a platform owner and technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, security, and DevOps teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, wellgoverned, and aligned with enterprise strategy.

The role requires strong handson expertise combined with architectural decisionmaking, leadership, and endtoend ownership of digital workplace platforms in a global enterprise environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Digital Workplace Platform Ownership (Intranet & Collaboration)

• Own the enterprise intranet and collaboration platform built on SharePoint Online, including architecture, site structure, lifecycle management, and governance

• Define and enforce standards for information architecture, permissions, security, branding, and user experience

• Act as the primary technical authority for intranet and collaboration platform decisions

• Partner with business stakeholders to evolve the digital workplace as a central employee information and collaboration hub

 

  • Power Platform Leadership

• Lead the design and use of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps) as the primary mechanism for digital workplace workflows and automation

• Establish enterprise patterns and standards for lowcode / nocode solutions that are scalable, secure, and supportable

• Review, guide, and govern Power Platform solutions built by developers and power users

• Ensure Power Platform usage aligns with governance, licensing, security, and compliance standards

 

  • Integration, Enablement & Modernization

• Integrate intranet and Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications, data sources, and services

• Enable automationdriven and AIassisted scenarios where appropriate (e.g., intelligent forms, content automation, Copilotenabled experiences)

• Ensure digital workplace solutions are designed for global usage and enterprise scale

• Evaluate emerging digital workplace technologies and recommend adoption aligned with business and IT roadmaps

 

  • Operations, Governance & Support

• Provide leadership for daily operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement of intranet and Power Platform environments

• Define support models, escalation paths, and production issue resolution standards

• Partner with security and identity teams on access management and compliance

• Stay current with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform roadmap changes and assess business impact

 

  • Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and power users working on digital workplace solutions

• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on collaboration, workflow automation, and productivity use cases

• Drive adoption through standards, patterns, documentation, and enablement (not just handson delivery)

• Own technical documentation, architectural decisions, and platform standards

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

Must have,

  • 5+ years experience in enterprise digital workplace or collaboration platforms
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Online, including architecture, permissions, governance, and lifecycle management
  • Strong handson and technical leadership experience designing and governing lowcode / nocode solutions at enterprise scale
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, identity, and access management concepts
  • Ability to design solutions that balance business agility with governance and supportability
  • Strong troubleshooting and productionsupport experience
  • Proven ability to lead technical decisions and mentor others
  • Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills

Nice to have,

  • Experience integrating digital workplace platforms with enterprise applications or APIs
  • PowerShell scripting or automation experience
  • Exposure to AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 / SharePoint (e.g., Copilot, intelligent search, content intelligence)
  • Experience working in a global enterprise environment
  • Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or cloudrelated certifications
