Position Title: Manager, Information Security



General Summary:

The Information Security Manager, Security Operations role is focused on the management of a dedicated team of global professionals with a primary mission to proactively monitor for cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and prevent incidents.  Operational development, implementation and maintenance of process and procedures. Manage and maintain the incident response plan.  The position will also participate in various projects to support process improvement and gain operational efficiencies, including creating and reviewing standard documentation. Additionally, the position will work with various line organizations to support business unit initiatives as needed. 


Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Build effective teams, build strong peer relationships, demonstrate command skills, possess strong oral and written communications skills to be able to communicate security related concepts to a broad range of individuals, and demonstrate strategic thinking.
•    Assess incidents to lay down strategies that will reduce the likelihood of a future occurrence.
•    During a security incident, efficiently orchestrate analysts to respond and communicate effectively to SOC team and management
•    Manage the security incident response program and be instrumental in evolving the program
•    Monitor for threats and vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate responses
•    Perform regular log reviews of critical systems
•    Develop and maintain all processes, plans and procedures for Incident Response Program and provide documentation
•    Create and present reports to management on incidents and security breach. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize workload without supervision; ability to define a problem or objective and identify relevant concerns or factors. 
•    Build, maintain, and report appropriate operational metrics.
•    Develop Cybersecurity Operations strategy and implementation plans.
•    Manage ongoing process improvement with customers and business partners to continually streamline the operational processes. 
•    Create and/or maintain documented standards, processes, and procedures in accordance with company policy and best practices.
•    Meet or exceed established and agreed upon service level agreements. 
•    Consult with technical or nontechnical personnel and derive information pertaining to projects or initiatives. 
•    General understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. 
•    Manage operational budget 
•    Develop training plans for SOC Analyst and Administrators, to include effective communication, technical skills, and response abilities 
•    Manage annual team performace and calibration 


Related Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Information Systems with 5+ years of related experience. Serurity Operations with Administrator Leader with strong Cybersecurity Operations strategy development experience preferred.
