Job Title: Functional Analyst, B2B


Work Location: Hyderabad


General Summary


This position requires hands-on experience in EDI production support and EDI development during the different time zone (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST) to support the global team and business. Work closely with the respective Manager and the global team to drive the strategic EDI core components integration with business processes focusing on functional design. Support the development of business cases for B2B initiatives.

Participate in process and technology review processes as a Team Member of the B2B solution. The goal of this position is to provide responsive support to end users while maintaining continued growth in functionality and system integrity.

Assure information systems are maintained within the global template and B2B system architecture continues to provide accurate information in an appropriately secured environment.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Production support during the 3rd shift (6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST), work with global team and business on EDI Production support and development activities.  
  • Break-fix and support of all B2B/EDI transactions with a goal to reduce repetitive failures and the overall number of failures
  • Monitor and resolve system performance issues
  • Participate in B2B/EDI production support rotation with other team members
  • Assist end-users in resolving and identifying system issues by providing application knowledge and technical Knowledge
  • Develop EDI mappings and business process configuration using a sterling integrator
  • Assist less experienced developers. Recognized in Company for development Knowledge and provides advanced problem-solving and technical support.
  • Routinely report project status to the manager.
  • Adhere to Software Development Methodology (SDM) practices
  • Participate in company initiatives/projects that require business application support while keeping in line with the overall IT roadmap 
  • Introduce Best Practice and process improvement ideas wherever appropriate
  • Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies/functionality
  • Provide transparency into IT through clear and timely communication to the business
  • Build and foster effective relationships between the business and IT
