Analyst, SAP Security

General Summary:As an SAP Security Consultant, you will be a key member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP application security. Your role will focus on creating and deploying secure, role-based access for end users across multiple SAP landscapes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and project requirements.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesSAP Role Design & Configuration: Develop and maintain SAP role-based security for all SAP environments, including design, configuration, and deployment of roles.

Access Management: Process and approve SAP access requests, assess authorization requirements, and ensure timely provisioning of user access.

Support & Troubleshooting: Provide global daily support for user ID access issues, troubleshoot authorization errors, and resolve problems across SAP systems.

Project Participation: Assist in SAP security activities during projects, including role configuration, unit/integration testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.Compliance & Governance: Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT Governance, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.Documentation: Create and maintain security standards, processes, and procedures in alignment with company policies.On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide extended availability during critical system maintenance and go-live activities. 

Qualifications & Skills Required: Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience

Experience : 5 to 7 Years of experience in SAP Security

SAP Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP user and role maintenance (SU01, PFCG, SU53, ST01, SUIM, AGR* tables).

GRC Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP GRC modules (ARM, EAM, UAR, ARA).Access Control Concepts: Strong understanding of role-based access, approval workflows, privileged access management, segregation of duties (SoD), and access recertification.

Technical Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori is a plus.

Soft Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently, including remote work when required.

Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of IT governance and audit requirements.
