Title:  Corporate Communications Manager

CommScope is hiring a Corporate Communications Manager to join our growing Home Networks team in the North America Region (NAR). This is a hybrid role. Candidates will be based in the US. 
 

The Corporate Communications Manager will develop, implement and evaluate high-quality, high-impact corporate strategic and tactical communication plans to build and improve brand and corporate image with key partners. Their work will positively influence external audiences to support the business priorities of Home Networks. 


How You Will Make An Impact: 

  • Create and implement public relations activities for Home Networks businesses that improve the perception, reputation, and market positioning of the company in NAR. Work with PR segment leads to customize content for regional distribution directly and through agencies. 
  • Collaborate with regional marketing to identify appropriate industry speaking opportunities that are matched with subject matter experts and company presenters.
  • Lead agencies to develop a regional PR communication strategy and calendarize the key investments and areas of focus to over deliver on earned objectives.
  • Partner with the social media lead to build a social media strategy for NAR. Collaborate with PR segment leads and SMEs to proactively plan, develop, schedule and support creation of content for blogs, videos, and social posts, coordinating responses to followers, and helping the department use social media strategy and tools. 
  • Increase awareness and knowledge sharing by providing a key link between industry analysts and internal marketing or other corporate executives.
  • Create communications content, branding, and messaging to be used with external/internal stakeholders, including social media channels such as blog posts, fact sheets, award applications, speaking submissions, press releases, videos, and ongoing writing and development of byline articles.
  • Create and maintain corporate fact sheets, media lists, online newsroom resources, team intranet site, measurement, and reporting, and more.
  • Collaborate with the Business Continuity Team on communication efforts to address crisis situations in the US.
  • Apply outstanding writing and editing skills to support department with preparation of various corporate communications materials. 


Required Qualifications For Consideration:

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications and/or public relations role. 
  • Proficiency in messaging and clear articulation of messages in all media.
  • Experience in creating publicity opportunities for new product introductions, markets, or overall company positioning.
  • Experience in providing communications counsel to executives, management, and product teams.
  • Experience writing for corporate blogs and other social media


You Will Excite Us If You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or public relations.
  • Experience in supporting international, multi-location companies 
  • Knowledge of telecommunications and networking industries
