Title:  Talent Programs and Project Manager

Due to growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Talent Acquisition Programs and Project Manager to join us in our Hickory, NC, Atlanta, GA, Horsham, PA, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX with the first preference being Hickory, NC.


This role will be responsible for the implementation of global talent acquisition programs and projects, as well as accountable for managing and delivering the global sourcing activities for the talent acquisition organization. This role will closely partner with Regional Recruitment Managers and the Talent Acquisition Director to develop key talent acquisition programs, create relevant processes, and to optimize the usage of talent acquisition systems. Additionally, this position will manage the full sourcing function to include ensuring maximum usage and effectiveness of sourcing tools and channels.


  • Ensure that CommScope talent acquisition teams are consistently following talent acquisition processes and procedures
  • Development of Early Career and University Relations Programming
    (i.e. internship programs, co-op’s, global rotational programs, etc.)
  • Optimize recruiting processes for successful talent acquisition delivery across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure hiring tools and systems are being utilized in a consistent and effective manner, and are optimized for talent acquisition delivery
  • Partner with talent acquisition managers, SMEs, and key stakeholders to help define and document talent acquisition workflow, processes and procedures
  • Vendor management to include management of staffing agency contracts/relationships and key talent acquisition partners
  • Act as liaison for recruitment managers for key data & analytics reporting needs
  • On-boarding and training for new talent acquisition staff members
  • Proactively manage candidate sourcing to maximize diverse talent pool through various recruitment tools/techniques as needed
  • Develop ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies to successfully pipeline both active and passive candidates
  • Gain market intelligence of the talent landscape for multiple functions in each region
  • Manage the social marketing vendor to ensure the development of candidate talent pipelines through various sourcing channels (database, social & professional networks, employee referrals, alumni network, career portals, job boards / search engines, consultants etc.)
  • Actively support recruitment branding and marketing activities
  • Create and foster relationships with various professional organizations to attract and recruit niche candidates
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative sourcing/recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.


  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a global recruitment team
  • 3 years of prior experience managing an MSP (managed service provider) or RPO vendor
  • 3 years of prior experience negotiating with vendors for staffing services
  • Extensive experience with full life-cycle recruiting, specifically with sourcing, familiarity with high volume and fast paced environments
  • Prior experience launching and optimizing processes and programs designed to continuously improve service delivery
  • Prior experience, or familiar with, a broad range of talent acquisition systems and tools
  • Relevant experience developing innovative recruitment campaigns and strategies
  • Experience recruiting for hard-to-fill or niche positions
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions on a national, multi-location level
  • Awareness of relevant employment laws & compliance requirements
  • Strong external/internal networking and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication, relationship management, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage process improvement using performance metrices
  • Ability to travel as needed
