Title:  Digital Learning & Development Manager

Due to growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a Digital Learning & Development Manager to join our team in Hickory, NC, Atlanta, GA, Horsham, PA, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, or Dallas, TX with the first preference being Hickory, NC.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Manager of Digital Learning & Development will help enable rapid learning and capability building and cultivate a culture of innovation, growth, empowerment and continuous improvement amongst our global workforce.  This role will strengthen the alignment between our business and talent strategy by expanding digital learning capabilities that support our business transformation efforts.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

 

  • Provides expertise and thought leadership around digital learning and actively develops and implements unique approaches and solutions that shape our learning and development strategy.
  • Monitors the virtual/digital learning environment, scanning for tools and solutions that would support Global Talent & Leadership Development in achieving its talent goals.
  • Integrates intuitive learning technologies and tools that optimize and focus on the learner experience and encourages engagement.
  • Collaborates extensively with HR and business leaders to champion, promote and elevate the knowledge, understanding and potential that digital learning offers, driving a change in the way learning is accessed and delivered via virtual and digital means.
  • Acts as a highly credible internal consultant, assessing broad learning needs and partnering to deliver scalable interventions that effectively meet global business needs.
  • Serves as product owner for our enterprise learning management system (SuccessFactors), leading ongoing optimization efforts and establishing effective governance of the function.
  • Manages a focused and cost-effective learning solutions portfolio that drives ROI and curates digital learning assets to support learning pathways in partnership with external suppliers, vendors and consultants.
  • Effectively prioritizes and leads global projects and teams to rapidly create and harmonize innovative and relevant solutions.
  • Tracks, manages and reports on goals, programs, budgets, KPIs and outcomes regularly to demonstrate effectiveness and impact using relevant measures.
  • Develops and leads a dynamic team of direct reports and a global administrator network to effectively support our learning solutions/tools and serve our global customers. 
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
     
  • A completed Bachelor Degree in Business, Instructional Design, Education, HR Management or related curriculum required.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, designing/delivering learning and development solutions to meet the needs of individual contributors and leaders at all levels.
  • Passion for learning, leadership and talent development.
  • Experience managing an LMS and other learning technologies.
  • Proficiency in the use of digital learning innovations (e.g., MOOCs, microlearning, performance support) and digital engagement tools (e.g. collaboration platforms, email optimization, digital marketing and outreach, social media and online virtual meeting platforms) preferred.
  • Highly developed communication/presentation skills with demonstrated ability to effectively influence key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in project management and leading complex/global projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, that deliver measurable value to the business. 
  • Well organized, good at planning/prioritization and attentive to details and deadlines.
  • Bias toward innovation, action and continuous improvement.  Self-directed and entrepreneurial and can hit the ground running and move initiatives forward.
  • Ability to measure effectiveness of solutions and the return on investment.
  • Big picture thinker who performs well in in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models and/or lesson and curriculum planning skills. 
  • Strong collaborative and consulting capabilities.
  • Embraces change enthusiastically and is eager and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Proven experience leading, inspiring and developing remote team members and the HR community to perform to their fullest potential.
  • Ability to bridge cultural and language barriers while working with global employees.
