The Global Sales Team currently has an immediate opening for an Account Manager-Ruckus to be based from a virtual office anywhere in th US.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Manager, Ruckus, North America is an individual contributor field sales role responsible for the sale of the company’s Ruckus products to strategic account customers and telecommunications customers in the assigned region. The Account Manager will coordinate the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives; including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals.  The individual will have responsibility for selling Ruckus solutions and will help develop, build and manage key customer relationships within assigned accounts. The role also includes responsibility for identifying and cross selling other company solutions to said accounts where applicable.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:  

  • Executes the complete sales cycle, from generating sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to negotiating and closing.
  • Assesses key decision-makers’ needs and develops a plan of action to meet customer needs with Ruckus products and services.
  • Coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives; including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals.
  • Manages the on-going account relationships. Maintains account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel. Understands customer’s business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches CommScope and Ruckus solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrates significant expertise in assigned product lines and ability to explain technical issues. Has a broad knowledge of the entire product line. Favorably influences product selection in targeted accounts with appropriate sales messaging.
  • Engages appropriate internal resources to support sales pursuits.
  • Performs revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow financial objectives. Provides information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.
  • Supports and participates in individual and team sales initiatives where applicable by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts. Shares sales leads with sales colleagues for products that are assigned to other sales resources in the region/territory and other product lines.
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma with 8 – 12 years experience or Bachelor’s preferred with 8 – 10 years of experience.
  • Supports and participates in team sales initiatives where applicable by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts
  • Must possess the ability to effectively call on and develop strong customer relationships with senior level customers up to and including the corporate level.
  • Proven record of technical learning ability. In depth knowledge of wireless industry and technologies, and familiar with latest and upcoming trends. Prior Ruckus work experience would be considered as preference.
  • Extensive knowledge of the competitive marketplace, industry trends, competitive initiatives, etc., to convert and identity opportunities from existing business, and identify new business opportunities.
