Title:  Staff QA Engineer

How you'll Help us Connect the World

We are seeking for a Staff QA Engineer who has at least 5 years of hands-on factory quality or hands-on SMT/DIP process experience, to be based at Hanoi, Vietnam.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Great teammate.

  • Able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese is a must. Able to write in English is also a must. Able to communicate effectively in the local language is added advantage.

  • Able to work with all levels in EMS and CommScope.

  • Have in-depth understanding of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) process and its effect on PCBA process.

  • Must have SMT and DIP process knowledge including inline SPI and AOI.

  • Able to understand the traceability system control

  • Individual should have wide-ranging experience with high volume manufacturing, quality related issues in that environment, work with a sense of urgency and fully understand effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Able to use and understand FMEA’s Control Plans, process capability, Quality Planning, DOE, SPC

  • Work independently to meet company objectives to resolve complex issues in effective ways.

  • Quality Audits – conduct periodic site audits (QMS audits) quality audits, support customer audits

  • Drive the EMS QA team to resolve MP quality issues (low test yields, process errors, etc.).

  • Request 8D reports from EMS to support Commscope CAPA.

  • Monitor pre-production processes, SOP’s, ESD compliance, multiple ECO and process changes during NPI

  • Attend weekly calls with EMS and engineering team, reviewing NPI projects

  • Request, review, approve quality items in the Pilot Readiness Review checklist (STD-00328)
