Title:  RF Electrical Design Engineer

This position is in Forest, VA - you must be willing to relocate

How You’ll Help us Connect The World

As a RF Electrical Engineer in our Forest, VA office you will be responsible for the design, development, and factory introduction of RF circuits and systems used in mobile radio repeaters and distributed antenna systems (DAS). As part a of cross-functional team working directly with software, digital, mechanical, and other RF engineers to take projects from concept to production. Daily you will design, simulate and prototype RF circuits, line-ups, analog, and power circuits. Experience generating schematics and PCB layout will be helpful as you will use RF instruments to test, debug and validate designs. We’re a fast-paced group whose culture emphasizes collaboration, mentoring, and team success along with individual growth and achievement.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 3 years of electrical engineering experience OR Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 1 year of electrical engineering experience
  • 1+ year experience developing and testing RF circuitry.
  • 1+ year experience with RF simulation, schematic, and layout tools.

You will Excite Us If You Have

  • 1+ year experience designing and developing receivers, transmitters, and/or power amplifiers for applications up to 6 GHz.
  • 1 + year experience with industry standards for mobile communications systems, especially 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies.
  • 1+ year experience with test automation tools such as LabView, Visual Basic, or other GPIB programming techniques.
