CommScope is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Forest, VA

 

FPGA Engineer will have knowledge of digital circuit design, state machines, Boolean math, embedded processor architectures, and FPGAs. Candidate shall have exposure to real-time logic development, preferably in VHDL. Experience with scripting languages (TCL, Python) desired.  Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot digital systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc., is required.   Candidate shall have exposure to RTL simulation and debug and possess a basic understand timing constraints and closure.  Experience or coursework involving digital communication systems and protocols, or digital signal processing is highly desired.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Current or completed by June 2019)
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience (can be via engineering internships, co-op programs, or post-graduation employment).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Background or coursework in digital or wireless communication is preferred
