CommScope is hiring a Site Director, Operations for an opportunity located in Euless, Texas.



Manage, directs, implements, and coordinates the site operations’ activities, strategies, and objectives to ensure the successful achievement of business goals.  Incumbent will focus on Delivery, Cost, Quality, Safety, Inventory and Customer Satisfaction. 




  • Directly responsible for Production, Materials and Production Planning, Facilities Maintenance and Materials Managment (Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, Stockroom, Cycle Counting and Order Placement for direct materials).
  • Dotted line reporing includes Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, NPI and order placement for indirect materials and services.
  • Responsible for preparing annual financial budgets (spend, cost and capital) for meeting financial performance objectives.
  • Drives the organization to meet and improve on KPI performance objectives including Safety, Delivery, Lead Times, Quality, Cost (Labor Efficiency, Scrap, Production Variances, Cost Reduction Projects / Kaizens, and fully burdened cost per hour), Inventory Turns, Inventory Accuracy, Absenteeism and Turnover rates.
  • Ensures the operation provides timely feedback on customer issues (external and internal) including delivery commitments, expedites and quality issues.
  • Ensure proper staffing to achieve objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with Quality Standards, Environmental, Legal and Regulatory requirements.
  • Supports new product introductions, process development and new product builds.
  • Drives inventory reduction activities partnering with the procurement organization on stocking arrangements.
  • Drives procurement organization to improve external supplier delivery and quality performance as required to meet delivery, cost and quality objectives.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contingency plans.


  • Demonstrating committment to the continual improvment of the EHS Management System.
  • Ensuring employees are trained in their necessary functions to implement the ISO14001 & ISO45001 Standards.
  • Ensuring that the roles, responsibilities and authorities are cascaded throughout their specific organization. Also, ensuring that these are understood and accepted as appropriate.
  • Cooperating with EHS to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Ensuring necessary resources are available to establish, implement, maintain, and improve the EHS Management System.



  • Degree (BS, MS) from an accredited university combined with twelve (12) years operational experience with a minimum of eight (8) of those years in manufacturing management. 
  • Experience must include progressively more responsible positions in the areas of production leadership, operational excellence and total customer satisfaction. 
  • Strong leadership, motivation, organization, analytical, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive change where required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to think ahead and takes action to ensure site success.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, line balancing, 5S, just in time, single piece flow for high volume & low mix and/or low volume & high mix.
  • Manufacturing operations financial acumen.
  • Quality Systems (i.e. ISO 9000, TL9000)
  • Safety and Environmental standards (i.e. ISO14001)
  • Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and to build & motivate teams of diverse disciplines.
  • Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain the proper balance between meeting the business needs and managing the available resources.



Upto 10% of the time. Domestic and International travel (Withing North America and Mexico) may be required.
