General Summary:

 

Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS)

Ensure Product Availability

Drive cross-functional team for planning activities

Inventory Management to minimize liability from contract manufacturer

Manage a team of 3+ planning supervisors

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Master Production Schedule & Product Availability

Ensure product availability per Inventory Plan for all SKUs

Develop master production schedule with capacity, cost and availability as inputs

Ensure SAP maintenance with commitments to customers

Capacity Analysis in Molding and production areas

Frequent communication with Global demand planning and BU leaders.

Manage Available to Promise (ATP) to ensure all urgent and upside requests can be fulfilled

Ensure On time to Promise (OTP) for all customer orders

Support new product launch and product transfers to site

Understand factory processes to help drive business trade-offs

Inventory Management

Reconcile all discrepant data to ensure system reflects accurate inventory picture

Responsible for ensuring revenue maximization while minimizing inventory liability

Manage buy-backs from Contract Manufacturer

People Management

Manage a team of 3+ Planning supervisors + 1 purchasing supervisor

Ensure retention and recognition

Development Plans for all employees

Demonstrating commitment to the continual improvement of the EHS Management System

Ensuring employees are trained in their necessary functions in order to implement this Standard

Ensuring that the roles, responsibilities and authorities are cascaded throughout their specific organization. Also, ensuring that these are understood and accepted as appropriate.

Cooperating with EHS to ensure compliance with EHS standards.

 

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in related area

3-5 years of experience in planning management position / 5+ years’ experience as planner

English (spoken, written) – required
