How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of 30+ team members in support of the Cable Manufacturing Team in Claremont, NC. We are a 24/7 manufacturing operation and operate on a 4x4 schedule with 12-hour shifts. You will facilitate the safe and productive manufacture of high-quality products, optimally driving standard work, and helping the team to embrace Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S.
4x4 Schedule 6:00pm-6:00am 12-hour shifts (nights)
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet or exceed production goals, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. and partnering with trainers to ensure employees are developed and accountable for their individual and team performance. Crafting a work environment that is exciting and significant. Recognizing and exciting dedication. Leading company-directed safety programs, compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and promotion of a strong safety culture. Eliminating waste throughout the manufacturing operations through the implementation of Lean tools and processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, and promoting employee engagement at all levels of the plant. Manage employee time and attendance for timely and accurate payroll processing. Leading, mentoring, and participating in teams to accomplish individual, department, and divisional objectives.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:

High School Diploma
-
Two or more years of manufacturing or production experience

Excellent digital literacy / Microsoft Suite / Microsoft Office
-
Ability to inspire change, adaptability, accountability and manage multiple projects and priorities by maintaining the right balance between meeting business requirements and handling available resources.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:

Associate degree
-
Three or more years leading production teams of 25 people or more.

Have experience with SAP, Kronos and Business Objects.

Possess working knowledge of the basic and sophisticated Continuous Improvement tools such as; Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TQM, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Poka Yoke, etc. and are green belt certified.
