Due to increase in customer demand, Commscope is hiring Senior Manufacturing Support Team Members in Claremont, NC!


How you'll help us connect the world:

Perform forklift operation and/or physical manipulation or movement of product or materials, or other jobs as deemed vital by business demands. Employees of this group may perform duties in areas such as Shipping, Material Handling, or Stock Room. Processes may include forklift function with battery changing, movement of reels to various departments, unload and accurately identify and store finished reels. This position requires you to roll and position reels of wire. Positioning requires pushing and pivoting the reels into place within a work station or holding area. Team members may be required to load different sized reels per job, depending upon the particular type of cable being run. Use of basic tools for pallet manipulation such as, hammer, drill, nails is required. During the performance of the job the team member will be moving reels, boxes, drums as needed. Climbing on and off the forklift is vital during the completion of responsibilities. We want members to take initiative when there is a problem by using their own skills and troubleshooting. Fill out all reports supplying information to needed areas on the product produced. Perform general housekeeping duties around machine areas. Our other departments will have different processes to follow. Training begins from day one.


Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Read, understand, and follow job instructions
  • Ability to maintain workflow to the distribution floor
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM on a 4 days on / 4 day off schedule including weekends


You will excite us if you have:

  • 2+ years of Forklift experience
  • Forklift Certification
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Understands quality metrics and tools to perform quality checks

Anticipated salary range dependent on experience and qualifications starts at $16.37 per hour.
