Title: Global Planning Director

We are looking for a strategic, problem-solving leader to lead global planning activities for our Network Cable & Connectivity (NCC) business unit partnering with the VP of Operations to establish processes, procedures and tools related to new business processes This position will be located in one of our North Carolina facilities (Catawba, Claremont or Apex)
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
You will develop and manage a team of Demand Planners responsible for establishing project management standards, procedures and assuring global compliance. This role also includes providing project management support for all live global restructuring projects as well as maintain and facilitate project timelines to meet internal, customer and financial expectations, through the planning, controlling, staffing and organization of key resources.
- Review financial results monthly and take corrective action where necessary, applying knowledge of various production, purchasing and engineering techniques and work with senior management to review and set project priorities
- Lead and integrate multiple projects comprising a large and complex program of business change. Drive the projects and organization toward achieving intended business results. Prepare / present status reports of all projects to management as requested.
- Direct the development, execution, and continuous improvement of demand planning strategy. Develop, implement, and lead all aspects of the policies and procedures, for Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Capacity Planning to align with Global Operations and Business Unit leadership.
- Lead critical initiatives to improve service, minimize supply chain costs, and optimize working capital. and collaborate with the Global Operations, Sales and Product Line Management leaders to insure alignment and execution of activities to achieve objectives.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- At least 12 years of prove experience in supply chain business processes or related area and previous experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable results
- Experience working in a highly matrixed global environment
- Ability to travel globally
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CIRM)
Validated leadership with ability to optimally interact and influence personnel of various levels and subject areas
Ability to analyze information and provide fact-based recommendations and present ideas to an individual or group applying appropriate delivery styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance
