Due to growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our team. This role can be based at any major CommScope location within the US.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Global Partner Marketing Manager role is focused on partner marketing strategy & execution. This individual will effectively coordinate & facilitate field & channel marketing programs by collaborating with internal and external resources. Primary responsibility is to work closely with Global Channel Marketing lead to develop and oversee the execution of channel & field marketing programs to generate revenue, maximize partner/channel engagement and acquire customers. This role will propose tactics to increase sales and awareness within the channel community by supporting and leveraging all channel efforts across the marketing team and with sales on other lead or sales generating programs. This role will successfully work with management to establish the infrastructure necessary to support the channel, track and analyze partner performance and impact on market share and competitive landscape

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

 

  • Work closely with Global Channel Marketing lead to set the strategic and tactical direction for channel marketing activities that generate revenue across Global Marketing, Channel Sales and various partner teams
  • Create a partner marketing plan with measurable goals
  • Build co-marketing plans with designated alliance partners in support of their revenue targets that are in line with local marketing plans
  • Plan and develop channel marketing efforts in collaboration with Field Marketing including, through-partner and with-partner activities aligned to the organization’s channel priorities and sales objectives
  • Create partner-ready demand creation programs designed to drive new opportunities into the pipeline through collaboration
  • Design and pilot new campaigns and programs to deepen partner sales engagement and drive new CommScope business across partners.
  • Develop supplier-to-partner marketing programs to raise awareness and mindshare for channel initiatives
  • Help in the design and launch of new lead-generation tools and programs driven by the channel.
  • Measure the impact of all channel work and use data to make adjustments that improve performance.
  • Ensure lead generation and demand creation targets for all channel marketing activities are forecasted, planned for and met; this includes establishing lead generation metrics with partners against joint marketing plans
  • Research and select appropriate vendors (e.g. creative, marketing services, teleservices) to ensure successful and timely project completion
  • Build relationships with the Global Marketing team to align and insert channel programs into larger CommScope programs.
  • Manage, administer, measure and report on channel budgets and co-marketing funds (e.g. market development funds [MDF], co-op, launch funds) to ensure regulatory compliance

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in related curriculum such as Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of experience in channel/partner marketing
  • Marketing experience within the b-to-b channel (e.g. reseller, distributor, integrator)
  • Experience with building and growing channel partner marketing programs and creating an operations infrastructure 
  • Proven success in establishing relationships across multiple functions and teams (including peer-to-peer) to achieve desired results
