Engineer Technician III, R&D

Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician to work at our Claremont, NC facility. The goal of the Engineer Technician is to perform multiple facets of testing (mechanical, electrical, environmental, active) to characterize performance of products offerings.

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:

• Conduct component and systems testing using via network analyzers and field tester cable analyzers to evaluate the transmission performance of copper apparatus components.
• Perform validation / qualification tests to assist development engineering to determine that products conform to internal requirements as well as industry standards requirements.
• Engage with Development and Sustaining Engineers to ensure proper tests are measured to verify compliance to industry and internal specifications.
• Compile test reports to convey to requester(s) a summarization of data collection.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Associate degree in an engineering discipline with 0-10 years of experience
• Familiar with product sets and the corresponding termination methods that are required for test preparation.
