Lead the charge in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to empower, educate and evolve our sales team. How You'll Help Us Connect the World

The primary goal of our Sales Training function is to own the end-to-end design and implementation of sales training programs, including prioritizing and analysis, incorporating best practices and confirmed methodologies, crafting and developing curriculum and evaluating business impact. The global Sales team is over 400 strong, and this role strives to capture the latest sales trends and innovative techniques to build the “Profile of a Successful Seller” with clear goals in mind to benchmark and train our growing teams. Focus areas include Sales Methodology (using Outreach.io), Product/Solution Training and New Sales Hire training and inductions.  The role requires interaction with RUCKUS’ leadership team and directly influences our business improvement strategies. This is an ideal setting for a Sales Training professional looking to make a genuine impact in an organization that can offer global exposure.  Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Lead and design the end-to-end Sales Training programs for onboarding, ongoing training and sales acceleration for our global sales organization with a customer-centric and channel slant
  • Work with sales leadership and HR to discover requirements to develop, execute and optimize an impactful training program that makes a measurable difference
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team to determine priorities with key stakeholders (sales, product, marketing, operations) and drive programmatic change against competency improvements and KPIs
  • Own and manage the development of educational content for ongoing training via workshops, storyboards, presentations and guides against a prioritized roadmap of initiatives spanning major milestones, continuous improvements, regional sales events and product launches
  • Facilitate learning by incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate learning styles, including Instructor-Led, Coaching, Virtual ITL, eLearning and blended learning for sales reps
  • Build a trusted relationship with sales reps, product teams, operational staff and sales leaders across multiple GEOs,  
  • Regularly analyze the efficacy of the enablement, sales training and onboarding programs  to iterate on the enablement strategy
  • Maintain sales enablement software and online forum/library to ensure it is easily accessible and provides the capabilities sellers need
  • Can travel 10-25%, including international travel

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Previous sales experience and three or more years of sales enablement, sales training, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of standard processes, methodologies, and technologies in these areas
  • Experience crafting and delivering learning programs to reflect knowledge in adult learning principles, both in and out of traditional classroom environments
  • Measurable experience with having a positive impact on business outcomes and Sales Methodology programs such as “Strategic Selling,” “MEDDIC,” or “Challenger Sale”
