Truck Mechanic

The Truck Mechanic will provide all repairs and preventive maintenance for CTI’ Trailer Fleet as well as CargoMasters. Must have strong communication skills and have experience in maintaining and repairing Semi-Trailers.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

CTI Trailer and C/M Mechanic general duties:
• Complete advanced preventative maintenance inspections to comply with DOT regulations.
• Inspect, adjust, and repair all CargoMaster and trailer related issues in timely manner, while utilize OEM software to diagnose, trouble shoot and repair any mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintaining hubs and axles and adjusting or replacing them when required.
• Assist in the moving of equipment around the yard.
• Able to pull trailers in and out of garage with yard truck, in limited space
• Maintains a clean and safe work area compliant with OSHA, and company regulation and policy.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including inspection reports and repair documentation.
• Perform all tire related repairs including mounting and dismounting all new and recap tires.
• Be available for On-call once or twice a month.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Have a basic knowledge of trailer repairs
• Have a strong knowledge of maintenance software and be proficiency with computers including Microsoft office.
• Experience with electrical, ABS brake system, suspension, landing gear, and CargoMasters as well as basic trailer repairs.
• Able to lift 75lbs. and maneuver up to 180lbs. with or without assistance.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:
• CDL A license
• Automotive Service Excellence Certification
• Experience welding and fabrication on trailers
