The Ruckus Logistics Operations Manager leads the EMEA Distribution Center operations in Veenendaal, Netherlands. This role calls for a forward-thinking leader with a passion for operational excellence, innovation, and team development in a global, multicultural environment.

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics order flow, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all shipping and distribution activities. The position drives continuous improvement, optimizes processes, and ensures best-in-class service. Success requires close collaboration with the onsite 3PL partner—including management of contractual obligations—and coordination with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service, Planning, and Warehouse Operations to achieve seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Strong knowledge of trade compliance is essential to ensure adherence to international regulations and customer-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
•    Oversee all logistics operations for the EMEA Distribution Center, including order processing, transportation, and delivery performance.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. 
•    Optimize transportation planning and carrier selection to meet service level agreements in accordance to the Terms of Sale (TOS) agreed-to between Ruckus and the customer.
•    Ensure adherence to customer-specific packaging, shipping instructions, and regulatory requirements.

Team Development
•    Collaborate closely with the 3PL to support and develop their team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff.
•    Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
•    Set clear objectives for the 3PL team and monitor performance against KPIs.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
•    Track and analyze KPIs such as on-time delivery, backlog resolution, and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
•    Identify and execute initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
•    Utilize data analytics to monitor performance and drive operational excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Partner with Customer Service, Planning, and Operations teams, as well as the onsite 3PL, to ensure smooth order flow and inventory accuracy.
•    Act as the primary liaison for distribution and transportation within the region, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
•    Streamline communication between internal departments and external partners to resolve escalations.
•    Drive automation and process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Customer Focus
•    Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and proactive communication.
•    Address escalations and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
•    5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
•    Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and order management systems (SAP experience preferred).
•    Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects in a multicultural environment.
•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
