Title:  Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer  that will be involved in the implementation of quality improvement plans for direct product material, production materials and third party suppliers, working to resolve major quality issues /  improve quality of parts supplied to Commscope or parts supplied directly to customers, maintain and evaluate supplier performance quality metrics, assist in the development of long-term strategies to meet quality goals, and achieve compliance, financial and performance goals.



  • Responsible for establishing, maintenance, update of inspection and control plans
  • Responsible for leading corrective and preventive actions using quality standard tools and systems
  • Responsible for root cause analysis of customer complaints which are related to assigned value stream; responsible for addressing emerging issues with value stream representatives and operations team
  • Responsible for product and process quality control plans on manufacturing lines in assigned value stream.
  • Quality-related cost tracking
  • Analyzing, identifying and implementing quality-related manufacturing process improvements
  • Collaboration between departments, reporting, participation in internal audits
  • Innovation and support of manufacturing and quality department



•High school education/Degree in Engineering or other similar technical degree; or relevant work experience

•2+ years minimum experience required in quality department or similar position in manufacturing company

•Experience with the development and documentation of quality systems processes and procedures

•Six Sigma certification, Certified Quality Engineer, or Certified Quality Auditor

•Experience with creating and documenting standard operating procedures (SOP)

•Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001)

•Knowledge of quality tools (G8D, PPAP, 5why, Pareto, MSA)

•Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab) software

•Handle tasks independently

•Must have English written and oral communication skills
