Title:  Intern - Continuous Improvement (12-month placement)

Lean Into Excellence is a company-wide initiative aimed at improving our business performance by applying tools and techniques to become more efficient and effective in order to satisfy our customers and deliver more value to our shareholders. The Continuous Improvement Intern will be supporting Lean tools deployment for specific departments or within the site. Integral part of the work will also be work with the Lean Into Excellence team to drive the development and facilitate the deployment of Lean culture and processes.


What will you do?

-  Support Lean Into Excellence team in deployment of Lean tools and techniques

-  Co-ordinate departments initiatives in order to achieve consistency and standardization across the Site

-  Monitor progress against plans and achievement of continuous improvement and progression to higher LMA levels

-  Provide all needed support in leading and facilitating of Kaizen’s and Workshops throughout the site

-  Provide leadership on lean thinking, lean processing and lean production

-  Replicate examples of excellence across site and communicates this to other members of Lean team


Areas that you are currently studying or are interested in:

-  Lean tools and techniques basics

-  Excellent communication and strong social skills

-  Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

-  Organization and administration skills

-  Strong team player

-  Willing to learn

-  Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

-  Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Business or a related subject

-  Language skills: English level B1 (written and spoken)
