Pricing Specialist

A temporary Project Pricing specialist vacancy exists within the Sales Operations team in Bray, Ireland. 

This position would suit an enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills, sharp business acumen and analytical skills, the desire to work within a dynamic & process-oriented team-based environment and the drive for results. Being the alliance partner of EMEA Enterprise Sales Team with project pricing for all CommScope products mainly, the SYSTIMAX, and NetConnect brands. Review competitive and strategic information from Sales Team and develop a pricing strategy for individual projects. Analyze gross margin for each project to ensure financial metrics are met.



  • Receive, review, and respond to incoming requests from Sales team for project pricing in a timely manner.
  • Manage project discounts as necessary to WIN project and meet financial targets for gross margin, average sell price and contribution.
  • Calculate and analyze gross margin for projects using latest cost and price information.
  • Verify and report on competitive activity including product offering, pricing, and other pertinent information.
  • Subject Matter Expert to answer questions and/or resolve conflicts relating to project pricing.
  • Responsible for absolute security of all pricing data, records and reports, and for the accuracy of input the computer system.
  • Supplies detailed pricing analyses as requested by Sales and Product Management teams.
  • Partners with Product Management team to complete special pricing related duties
  • Provide innovative advice on how to best utilize existing computer data for various analysis needs.
  • Works closely with Customer Service team, Field Application Engineer and ImVision Consultant to ensure Bill of Material is correct to perform analysis for project pricing review and proposal.


  • Bachelor’s degree is required or Recognized professional business administration qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite especially MS Excel is required, experience with SAP is preferred.
  • An effective team player who can work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented with positive attitude.
  • Resourceful and good analytical skills.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills; ability to engage with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies.
