Responsible for development and support of products. Independently contribute to derivative software design and implementation with minimal technical guidance from senior engineers. Perform unit and integration testing of the product. Serve as technical team member for the design and development of products. Focus on derivative designs as well as functional and performance enhancements to existing product. Independently resolve technical problems, initiating design changes and providing engineering support to assess customer needs and solve field issues. Generate required product development documentation including, but not limited to, functional specifications and detailed design documents. Participate in source code control and software release activities as required. Interface with other departments to enable accomplishment of division and new product development objectives. Communicate project status, issues, and requirements both verbally and in writing. Interprets test cases in the problem domain and extrapolates to the required configuration and messaging. Develop products including adaptive bitrate video applications, allowing cutting-edge personalized content delivery on cloud-ready service infrastructure and internal software applications that increase the capability and efficiencies of the development and test cycles/systems for automated, manual, and continuous development and testing. Understand the whole application solution including its automated installation and configuration into bare metal, virtual machine, and/or container targets (using Ansible, Python, and Docker), the communication paths and participants, and how to emulate and manipulate the messaging using BASH, PHP, HTTP, XML, SCTE-130, AND VAST/VMAP. Understand the whole application solution and therefore the objective success criteria of different operations on a system with prescribed policies in place. Critical contributions to new and updated software by creating tools and expressions to validate IP ABR formats like HLS AND DASH (using the Python programming language and proprietary template technology), maintaining an execution framework that runs the distributed solution (using programming languages: Python, Ansible, and Go) and focused areas of cloud service management, high scalability, streaming video technology, and DEVOPS automation principles. Contribute to the continuous integration environment/tools by creating, managing, and debugging in configuration management environment for application (Jenkins) and for testing automation integration.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related and 3 years of work experience 




Use of the Linux,  Bash Shell, Groovy, XML, JSON,  Ansible, Jenkins; Python; Writing Integration Code for Atlassian Jira; Selenium to GUI Testing;  Programming to Database Interfaces for Relational, Time-Series, and Non-Relational Databases and Cloud -based virtual systems.
