CommScope is looking to add a “Sr QA Engineer” to our RUCKUS team based in Bengaluru, INDIA.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

We are seeking a highly adaptive Senior QA Wi-Fi engineer who thrives in a fast-changing environment, learns quickly, and embraces new technologies with confidence. You’ll be leading and contributing to the QA efforts for next-generation Wi-Fi solutions across cloud, edge, and embedded platforms.

This role demands not only technical excellence in Wi-Fi validation but also the flexibility to evolve with project demands, tools, frameworks, and cross-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform comprehensive QA validation of Wi-Fi features across firmware, controller, and cloud layers, with a strong emphasis on client interoperability testing.
2. Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts targeting both functional and interoperability scenarios.
3. Execute manual and automated test cycles focused on Wi-Fi client interoperability, using a wide range of end-user devices across various operating systems and browsers.
4. Collaborate effectively with global QA teams to ensure thorough test coverage across all major regulatory country codes.
5. Engage closely with OEM vendors and development teams to understand requirements and drive efficient and accurate test execution.
6. Investigate and debug issues thoroughly, providing detailed logs, root cause analysis, and precise reproduction steps.
7. Demonstrate a self-driven approach, proactively identifying product issues to accelerate time-to-market without compromising on quality.
8. Continuously innovate and adopt emerging technologies to reduce manual testing efforts and enhance overall test efficiency.
9. Must be willing to work from the office on all working days to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in QA/testing of wireless networking products.
• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), WLAN security (WPA2/WPA3), and enterprise networking.
• Hands-on experience in test tools like IxChariot, Wireshark, iPerf, LANforge, or similar.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Experience with automation using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and basic networking commands.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Exposure and hands on using openAI is added advantage

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
