Title:  Specialist Renewals Sales I

General Summary

The Renewals Sales Specialist owns the renewal sales process for their respective territory from opportunity management through sales closure for support, subscription and XaaS renewals.  They focus on current customer renewals working with Sales, Distribution Partners and Solution Providers to successfully drive the sales process with a renewal contract.  This includes but is not limited to renewal sales execution, preparing/updating quotes, opportunity management, close plans, and managing incoming requests for their sales territory. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming inquiry case queue and emails from internal and external customers
  • Manage and update all assigned opportunities throughout the renewal sales process, ensuring all opportunities are quoted and driving engagement with Sales and Partners
  • Drive high touch renewal process and proactive engagement on top deals and strategic accounts
  • Overcome objections and adjust quotations as the need arises to ensure the best solution is presented to the customer
  • Sell the benefits of timely renewals, multi-year, and coterminous contracts
  • Collaborate and follow up with Sales and Partners on sales strategies to drive increased renewal rates
  • Manage business and activities in Power BI dashboards and reporting in SFDC

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, or a related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Renewals, Inside Sales, Customer Success, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Proven experience with MS Outlook, Excel and SFDC
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Strategic problem solving and critical thinking skills, including offerings, pricing & discount structures, to achieve results
