Job Description

General Summary

We are looking for an individual contributor who is having 8 to 12+ years of experience in RAN software testing, preferably in 4G/5G, Kubernetes, Virtualization, Platform & Network Protocols.

The candidate should be capable of leading Networking, Virtualization features/system validation, debugging issues, analyzing the logs. Should have E2E knowledge and be capable of guiding other team members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Caring out technical reviews and guiding the team on technical aspects. Should interact with cross-functional teams on technical issues and track them for logical closure.
  • Preparing lab test setups and equipment needs planning for end-to-end feature validation. Execution of test plan in the lab environment and mimic field scenarios in the lab.
  • Preparing the test plans as per requirements, customer requirements, and RFC/3GPP specs. Should possess Problem-solving skills and identify the issues with minimal effort.
  • Supervising Test execution and reporting of testing activities like test results, test case coverage.

Education:

Bachelors in the related curriculum such as BE/Btech in CS /EC/Telecom.

Masters in the related curriculum such as CS/EC/Telecom.

Skills required

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture with strong basics of Docker concepts - virtualization. Experience coordinating Kubernetes clusters. Good Hands-on with Kubernetes objects

Hands-on experience testing features such as autoscaling, pod security policies, network policy, load balancing, resource requirements, rolling updates, liveness probes, readiness probes, storage volumes, etc along with all the basic Kubernetes objects.

Good idea on Kubernetes certificate management controller, A Quick Learner who is eager to adopt new features of Kubernetes. Experience in testing NFV and cloud systems is desirable

Excellent knowledge of Network- ProtocolsTCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, IPv4/v6), routing and switching, NGINX, Load Balancing, Firewall, VPN Security (IKE/IPSec), PKI

  • Expertise in crafting test plans for system-level, subsystem level, and feature level testing. Good understanding of Software development Life cycle.
  • Strong teammate and out-of-the-box problem solver. Good appreciation of software testing engineering principles.
  • CI/CD: Proficient in using CI and CD tools to automate testing, Good log analysis skills to point out problem scenarios.

Testing in Unix/Linux environment, Automation experience preferred.
