Job Title: Quality Engineer

Work Location: Bangalore 

What you will do :

Quality functions such as but are not limited to:


  • Quality Management System and Product Development responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, implement and advise on structured QA processes, procedures
  • Non-conformance and Defect analysis
  • Data analysis and report generation
  • Product Field performance analysis


Internal audits


  • Continuous improvement activities (Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency)
  • Identify, define, and implement corrective and preventive actions (local and global interactions)
  • Other quality functions not listed


Product Development


  • Quality representative on cross-functional teams during product development.
  • Utilize basic and advance quality tools (Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, etc) to analyze and resolve product issues during all phases of the product life cycle (design, production, deployment, sustaining, end of life).
  • Hardware and Software Defect Analysis for both the development cycle and for the deployed product.
  • Analyze, assess, and develop processes that can improve quality, efficiency, effectiveness in SW and/or HW Design and Development.
  • Collaborative development and setting of various key performance indicators and metrics for the development cycle (HW and SW)
  • Customer Advocacy (internal and external)
  • Take initiative and action to respond, lead, resolve and follow up quality issues with customers (internal and external) in a timely manner.
  • Strong customer advocate with experience in managing and solving Customer Quality issues to root cause.


Problem Solving


  • Independently analyzes and solves well-defined problems with little direction/supervision.
  • Structures and solves a diverse range of complex problems delivering innovative solutions for existing products/features/services with assistance from supervisors
  • Utilize advanced Quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, 3L5Y, 8D, Poke Yoke




  • Ability to follow a team leader or supervisor as a project contributor.
  • Effectively leads small team discussions to resolve technical issues. Demonstrates ability to lead small project teams or subtasks to execute well-defined projects.
  • Models active listening skills.
  • Structures own work with limited input from manager to optimize for the overall success of the project team.
  • Makes constant effort to increase his/her own and overall team's accomplishment by identifying obstacles.
  • Actively seeks input for him/herself and the overall project team members.




  • Ensures that own work and that of a small team is clearly and concisely documented.
  • Demonstrates independent decision-making while being aligned with the overall goal of the project and/or functional team.
  • Contributes effectively to team discussions.
  • Demonstrates ability to provide and receive constructive feedback for the benefit of overall project team success.
  • Actively contributes to the codified knowledge base within CommScope.
  • Some travel is required.


Education Qualification : 


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 8 years experience
