Ruckus is seeking a Principal QA engineer who is passionate about making pioneer smart Wi-Fi products.  These products enable carriers and enterprises to stay ahead of the exploding demand for high-bandwidth applications and services.  Candidate should be comfortable with the entire wireless and wired networking design and implementation.  

Candidate will have strong background and experience in 802.11, RF, L2, L3, L4-L7, routing and tunneling.  You will be working with a team in Bangalore to test next generation Access Point and new feature set being developed at Ruckus. Requirements:

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of QA experience in testing Wi-Fi Access Point, Controller and Wireless Gateway products
• Lead Access Point verification and work closely with team of highly skilled test engineers
• Must have good hands-on experience with L2, L3 networking. (Switching, STP, VLAN, IGMP, IPV4, IPV6, TCP, UDP, Multicast, DHCP, DNS etc.)
• Strong Conceptual knowledge and hands on experience in WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wifi6E, WiFi7), 802.11 RFCs
• Must have hands on experience in testing of Access Points, WLAN controller, AAA, 802.1x - Must have very good hands-on experience in testing of various wifi security protocols like WPA2, WPA3, HS2.0, HOSPOT in both carrier and enterprise domains
• Experience in handling various tools/traffic generators available for Wi-Fi, wired testing. (iperf, ixchariot, veriwave, Lan forge, sniffers)
• Expert solving skills specifically with Enterprise Wi-Fi deployments
• Hands on experience in working on various Wifi device platforms like Apple, Android, Windows, Linux
• Exposure to Robo framework and solid understanding on Automation and scripting using Python is a must
• Strong in logical thinking abilities and abilities to solve sophisticated networks
• Familiar with usage of tools like Teslink, Qtest, jira
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Good Written and Oral communication skills with ability to communicate across different Geos
• Be able to write clear test procedures, defect descriptions and test reports
• BE, B.Tech/ ME, M.Tech or MS in CS, EC or equivalent
