Manager Engineering, R&D Tech Architect

General Summary:

We are looking for an individual who is having overall 15+ years’ experience in SW testing or Program Management of Telecom products. People managing experience is essential. Experience in LTE or 5G will be an added advantage. Should be proficient in planning tools: Microsoft Project Plan, Jira and others: ClearQuest, ClearCase etc. Should have handled an end-to-end project/release individually from planning till customer deployment.

Six sigma Green belt or above or equivalent is extremely desired.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with PM and Engineering teams for defect reduction
  • Technical management of test teams
  • Planning of releases and tracking of progress
  • Presentation of the progress and risks to senior management
  • Identifying test strategy and test plan development for 4G and 5G EnodeB/gNB product for end to end validation.
  • Responsible for overall Test Strategy and Master execution Test Plan.
  • Preparation test plans as per requirements, customer requirements and 3GPP specs.
  • Preparing lab test setups and equipment need planning for end to end feature validation.
  • Leading technical staff of 8 to10 members team.
  • Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the Project teams/Business users and the Testing teams.
  • Familiar with Agile methodology.

Related Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's in related curriculum such as BE/Btech in CS /EC/Telecom with 15 Years of Related Experience
