Open position for AT Engineering organization at Monterrey-Apodaca. The AT product portfolio covers all Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) infrastructure products, including Optical Head-end, Optical Nodes, RF active/passive products and RF over Glass (RFoG) products, including Optical Network Units (ONU)/Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s). this job is on site.

This position is for a Hardware engineer reporting into the AT hardware sustaining engineering. Strong grasp of hardware issues related RF and optical transmission products used into the HFC network that includes RF, optical, and digital electronic circuitries. The position will require hands on characterization and debugging. 

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

•    Development projects and solves well-defined problems with little direction/supervision.
•    Support hardware RF/optical sustaining and development engineering projects.
•    To be the point of contact for factory support for key quality issues.
•    Problem solving skill needed and logical thinking.
•    RF/optical components characterization of such as RF amplifiers, filters, splitters. and others.
•    Experience in LAB measurements by using specialized equipment, such as, network and spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, multimeters, and related equipment.
•    Actively participates in strategic activities to leverage the CommScope intellectual property.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

•    BS Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering as minimum.
•    3+ years of related experience in broadband products.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
•    Excellent teamwork attitude and skills.
