Title:  Product Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

 

The Product Compliance Specialist supports regulatory compliance efforts within the Ruckus (a CommScope company) Networks business unit of wireless, switch, LTE and power supply products.
Key responsibilities include purchase request submissions, budget tracking, documentation management, OEM/Oracle certification tracking, quarterly renewals, power supply certifications/renewals, vendor follow-up, transition activities and special projects.

 
Key Duties & Responsibilities (in decreasing Critical Emphasis order)
  • Purchase Request (PR) Submissions: Submit compliance PRs, track through to PO release.
  • Budget Tracking: Track PRs/POs in budget spreadsheet.
  • Documentation Management: File certifications/reports in compliance management tool, mark them as completed, and upload to the certification database.
  • OEM/Oracle Certification Tracking: File/track OEM/Oracle certificates in compliance management tool and report changes monthly or as requested. Complete OEM/Oracle Certification Flag templates as requested.
  • Quarterly Renewals (all product lines): Pull renewals data quarterly and review with Compliance PM. Send list of renewals/costs to Renewals Team/OEMs for review/approval. Update status in compliance management tool/certification database/renewal logs. Create renewal projects/assign vendors. Document management.
  • Power Supplies (new certs/renewals): New certifications: RFQs, work with vendors to complete new power supply certifications on schedule, tracking the process and document management. Renewals: Work with vendors to complete power supply renewals on schedule, tracking the process and document management, work with HW engineering to update SKUs in Product LifeCycle Management tool.
  • Transition Activities: Assist with Ruckus/CommScope integration activities as needed.
  • Special Projects: Manage remaining compliance management tool implementation/integration activities. Ensure all certifications/test reports are uploaded and tagged. Work with IT to integrate/automate compliance management tool with certification database.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or related field.
  • 1+ years experience in relevant roles.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel
  • Access skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to see tasks through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in english. Can-do attitude is essential.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance for electronic equipment (Required).
  • Experience with: Wireless Access Networks, WiFi, Switching, Access Points (indoor and outdoor) and power supplies is a plus.
  • Product LifeCycle Management such as (Arena/Agile)
  • Project Management Tool (Asana) is a plus
  • Oracle Cloud, SharePoint.
