Her story highlights a career built on curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for quality—culminating in a patent achievement and a commitment to mentoring the next generation.

My CommScope Journey

I joined CommScope in August 2013. My journey began as a designer in the R&D product development department at CommScope's Bermudez plant. Over time, I gained valuable experience in product design and product sustaining, which prepared me to take on new challenges as an R&D Engineer, where I was able to apply my skills to the manufacturing process, building prototypes, conducting testing, driving design and process improvements, and leading cost reduction projects that added value to operations.

I currently work as a Test Engineer, focusing on product validation to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. I’m part of a highly collaborative team of Engineers and Technicians, where knowledge-sharing helps us grow and solve challenges together. I also participate in process improvements and Kaizen initiatives, while developing on my research skills.

I was drawn to CommScope for its innovation and global impact in the communications industry. I wanted to be part of a company that not only delivers cutting-edge solutions but also values teamwork and continuous improvement. Since joining, it’s been a rewarding experience—I've collaborated with talented colleagues, learned from diverse projects, and contributed to meaningful outcomes.

I enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the organization, as it drives innovation and personal growth. What I value most about CommScope’s culture is the spirit of teamwork and continuous learning, where everyone is open to sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and working toward common goals. Its unique blend of global impact and an innovation-driven mindset creates an environment where individual contributions truly matter. That balance between global scale and personal impact is something I find genuinely special..

I also appreciate that CommScope promotes inclusion and professional growth. For example, I'm actively involved in the CREA Committee, where women across the organization support each other’s development and collaborate on solidarity initiatives with other company committees to give back to society. 

A highlight of my career was contributing to a patent project in 2021, which was an important achievement in driving innovation within the company. More recently, in 2024, I received formal recognition for my contributions and commitment, which was a very rewarding milestone in my professional journey. Together, these experiences reflect not only my technical growth but also my commitment to innovation, teamwork, and making a positive difference inside and outside the organization..

My Insights For Success

My advice would be to stay curious and keep learning—this industry is always evolving, and being open to new knowledge and skills will help us grow. At the same time, embracing collaboration; working closely with a diverse team has shown me how much stronger we are when we share ideas and support each other.

Life beyond work

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I actively participate in community initiatives through a neighborhood committee that allows me to give back. I also serve as a professor at Adela de Cornejo University in the Industrial Engineering program and I truly enjoy teaching. It gives me the opportunity to share knowledge, inspire future professionals, and continue learning through meaningful interactions with my students.
