We are pleased to offer Flex@Work, a program that gives employees flexible workplace options. One of the options of this program is a hybrid work schedule with the ability to work some days remotely and some days in the office. We believe this offers the best of both worlds.

Why Flex

Experience has shown that flexible work can foster a better work-life balance and improve employee engagement. performance, and productivity when a job can be performed in different ways and places. Just as we rely on employees bringing their best selves to work to enable our success, we believe it's important to create an environment that supports work-life integration as best possible.

As a result, we've created flexible workplace offerings that include working from the office, from home or anywhere, depending on business requirements, the role performed, and the employee's circumstances.

We recognize each employee has unique needs when it comes to balancing work and personal commitments. So, rather than a rigid, one-size-fits-all policy, our Flex@Work offering provides a variety of solutions. Anchored by our four corporate values, our approach empowers managers and employees to work together to define individualized arrangements that best address the needs of the business, our customers, and our people.

How It Works

We know that one size does not fit all when it comes to roles and workers. Some employees will be suited for 100% virtual work, while others will need to be 100% on-site, but many will be eligible for a blend of both. Below are some of the workplace types.

Office

  • For jobs that require you to be in the office or a CommScope facility 5 days a week

Flex

  • A hybrid of in-office and work from home
  • This workplace option could be a fit for roles that can be successfully completed both on-site and off-site
  • Have the ability to work from home up to 5 days a week, or as needed

Virtual

  • Roles that can be successfully completely off-site 100% of the time
  • Primarily working from home

All flexible work arrangements begin with a discussion with your manager. Working together, you will:

  • Determine if a flexible work arrangement is possible given the nature of your role, the needs of the business, and the kind of accommodation you need. This must be an open and honest conversation about the feasibility and potential impact the arrangement will have on you, your team, our customer(s), and our company.

  • We must recognize going into the conversation that there are simply some roles that cannot be done remotely. This is especially true for our manufacturing and distribution operations that rely on the collective efforts of people being in a certain place at a certain time. But many of our roles can be performed remotely on a full-time or part-time basis. Regardless of the approach, meeting the needs of our customers and ensuring the efficiency & reliability of our supply chains is essential.
