Channel Manager - Brazil

This position will support the Brazil region for COMMSCOPE’s Enterprise Business, essentially overseeing our Channel program and developing new business.   

Overall Purpose:

The Partners Account Manager is responsible for the relationship with our Distributors in Brazil, as well the development of new partner when needed, also responsible for implementing the global distributor strategy and develop new business with these partners.  The   person will also act as the liaison between the distributor and our local sales teams when the partner conducts business nationally.  This individual will be responsible for growing revenue via distributors.  The Account Manager should have a proven history of collaborative leadership, history of achieving revenue targets, ability to think transformitvily, excellent eco-system relationships, ability to manage through areas of conflict with partners, proven leadership in a matrix organization and history of using a standard sales methodology and CRM.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • In scope competencies- Business Insight, Distributor l Focus, Manages Complexity, Interpersonal Savvy and Communicates Effectively;

  • Conducts oneself in a manner which ensures compliance with all standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines encompassed under COMMSCOPE’s policies;

  • Communicates with internal counterparts across the organization in such areas as Partner Enablement, Marketing, Product Management, Pricing & Contracts and the Sales teams.

Skills and Requirements:

  • English required, Spanish desired;

  • Knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure industry;

  • Establishes trusted relationships with partners and resolve conflict between national and local strategy;

  • Experience creating programs and processes to drive day-to-day sales;

  • Ability to leverage eco-system relationships for greater territory success;

  • Team oriented & ability to motivate and collaborate with Field Account/Channel Managers;

  • History of using standard sales methodology and CRM;

  • Interpersonal skills and experience of managing relationships within a matrix environment;

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;

  • Possess strong financial and business acumen;

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization;

  • Located in Brazil.

     

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ experience developing channels, eco-system partners, or value-added resellers;

  • CRM experience required;

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineer or related field; MBA Preferred.
