Title:  Senior B2B EDI Analyst

The  B2B/EDI service delivery team is  responsible for all EDI/B2B related production support and new trading partner onboarding across the global. As a Senior B2B EDI Analyst you will   work closely with team members across the global to ensure critical production issues are identified and resolved on timely basis following predefined processes. You will also identify gaps in the current processes & solutions, and continuously improve what we do and how we do things. Ideal candidate should have strong technical development background, but also have a service mindset in helping business users. Both technical know-how in EDI and various integration technologies, and understanding of business are equally important to be successful in this job.  This role can be located in any of Commscope's US office locations including Hickory, NC, Shawnee, GA, Joliet, IL, Richardson, TX, Omaha, NE, Sunnyvale, CA and Horsham, PA. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Being a senior technical member of a global team responsible for developing, delivering and supporting B2B integration solutions.
  • Be the primary point of contact for supporting business users in the US across all business functions.
  • Timely resolve all critical production issues, proactively identify root causes and implement permanent fixes to improve the overall stability of integration platform.
  • Working closely with technical design team to ensure the supportability of new integration solutions.
  • Own the global support process, ensure the best practice is always applied and continuously improved. Set the technical and process guideline for the rest of team to follow.
  • Drive change by pushing for continuous improvement and enhanced quality within the Integration Services group for the benefit of CommScope
  • Build and foster effective relationships between the business and IT


Education & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related curriculum.
  • Eight or more years related experience. 
  • 5+ years developing EDI solutions or other application integration solutions.
  • Experienced in developing EDI solutions on Sterling B2Bi (preferred) and other EDI platforms.
  • Experience with different EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Experienced in web services and API development.
  • Strong programming knowledge and experience in Java and related technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding and experience with XML, XPATH, SOAP, RESTful, WSDL, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge on Windows, Unix, and Linux. Demonstrated working experience on OS level command line and scripting.
  • Knowledge and working experience with RDBMS, such as Oracle, SQLServer, etc
  • Strong analytically skills, ability to independently working with business users to analyze requirements and develop integration solutions.
  • Knowledge and working experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Familiar with SAP IDoc.
  • Knowledge and working experience with various communication protocol, including but not limited to FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP.
  • Experienced working with EDI VAN.
  • Ability to learn quickly on new technologies, and develop deep understanding of supported business functions.
  • Ability to work on multiple integration development in parallel and constantly adjust priority based on business needs.
  • Ability to work in a global team and collaborate with different teams to ensure timely resolution of production issue
  • Good documentation skills. Maintain clear documentation on business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Able to identify root cause of repeating errors, propose and develop permanent fixes.
  • Knowledge and experience working with different IT methodologies, such as ITIL, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Lean
