Title:  Shipping Coordinator

Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, Shipping Coordinator, for an opportunity located in Euless, Texas



  • Route incoming and outgoing communication regarding transportation needs and freight shipments.  Incumbent will be responsible for answering phones, dispatching drivers for freight pick-ups and/or deliveries, providing support to drivers (i.e. directions), relaying messages and quickly responding to emails.
  • Prepare pack lists, customs paperwork, submit AES direct filing for international shipments and bills of lading for items being shipped. Create UPS World Ship and Fed-Ex shipments.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of shipments using company systems.  Enter data into spreadsheets and electronic databases to process the reports received.  Administer billing documents according to company policies and procedures.  
  • Communicate with management and leads for status on items that need to ship daily.
  • Assist packagers when necessary and/or when time permits.
  • Utilize the computer system (ERP) to receive finished goods on hand.  Maintain inventory locations and quantities in the finished goods area.
  • Communicate with suppliers.   Maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with vendors by being a liaison.  Communicate with suppliers daily to ensure shipments are accurate and delivered on time.  As applicable and in collaboration with management, negotiate better rates with the carriers.
  • This job description reflects the general nature and level of work being performed.   Additional duties may be required, based on business need.



  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.   
  • Experience coordinating shipments / workflow in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Previous experience with shipping, deliveries and freight.
  • Excellent working knowledge of implementation, documentation and feedback of all required shipping and safety criteria. 
  • Must be organized, detail oriented with strong math and problem-solving skills. 
  • Great customer service skills a must
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbal & written.   
  • Strong computer skills, ERP experience a plus. SAP experience a plus.
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.  
  • Ability to operate forklift equipment.
  • Ability to stand and reach with hands and arms. Position will regularly be required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, with assistance, up to 100 pounds.
  • Other necessary skills: self-motivated, create problem solver, enthusiasm, team-oriented behavior.
